Javonte Green is an American-Montenegrin professional basketball player who plays power/small forward for the New Orleans Pelicans, as of December 2024. Born on July 23, 1993, Green attended Radford University in Radford, Virginia, in 2011 and played for the Radford Highlanders men's basketball team until 2015. He was named the Big South Conference's All-Newcomer team during his freshman season. Green ended his collegiate basketball career with 1,911 points, 243 steals, and 1,064 rebounds in 133 games, making him Radford's career leader and second all-time in scoring. Green was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Year, the All-Big South First Team, and the NABC All-District Second Team in the 2014-15 season, according to his college profile. His college retired his college jersey number 2 on November 28, 2021.

Green remained undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, and later on September 11, 2015, he signed with the Club Baloncesto Marín Peixegalego of the Spanish third division, LEB Plata. He averaged 18 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game. He was the champion of the LEB Plata Championship and was named the MVP of the tournament in 2016. On July 11, 2016, Green joined the Pallacanestro Trieste, an Italian professional basketball club, in the Serie A2 Basket. In the second season with the Trieste, he was named to the Phoenix Suns NBA Summer League roster. Additionally, he played for the Ratiopharm Ulm in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in the 2018-19 season. Green was invited by the Boston Celtics to become a member of their roster in the 2019 NBA Summer League. After playing two seasons with the Celtics, he joined the Chicago Bulls in 2021. He also played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2023-24 NBA G League season. Green signed with the Pelicans on August 22, 2024.
