In his second year with the BYU Cougars, Robinson was given the key bench role of being the sixth man of the team. He was very efficient when he was given opportunities to play, which ultimately helped him win the Big 12 Conference Sixth Man of the Year award. In 2024, he decided to transfer again to the Kentucky Wildcats.
