His basketball journey began during his high school years at Wheeler High School in Georgia. In his junior year, Brown averaged 24.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. His performance helped the Wheeler Wildcats achieve a 29-5 record. In Brown's senior year, he led Wheeler to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 6A State Championship, posting outstanding numbers with 28 points and 12 rebounds per game.
