
Jeff Green is an American forward who plays for the Houston Rockets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected as the fifth pick in the first round of the 2007 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, who subsequently traded him to the Seattle SuperSonics. He was traded back to the Celtics in 2011. He spent just one partial season with the Celtics before his open-heart surgery in 2012.
Green signed with the Celtics again in 2012 before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in 2015. After stints with the Los Angeles Clippers and Orlando Magic, Green signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017. In 2018, he was traded to the Washington Wizards. He then had short stints with the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets before joining the Brooklyn Nets in 2020. He moved to the Denver Nuggets in 2021 and won his first NBA championship with the team in 2023.
