An American basketball player, Houston Jerami Grant was born on March 12, 1994. He is a professional basketball player for the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers.

Jerami Grant was born in Portland, Oregon. His family has a sports background as his father, Harvey played basketball in the NBA. He has played 11 seasons in the NBA for different teams including Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers. In Addition to this, Jerami’s Uncle, Horace Grant is also a former NBA player who has spent 17 seasons in the NBA.

As a second-year student at Syracuse University, Jerami averaged 12.1 points, 1.4 assists and 6.8 rebounds in 32 games. He was honoured with the 2014 All-ACC Honorable Mention for his impressive performance throughout the season.

Jerami Grant played two seasons at college and appeared in 72 games. During this time, he collected 541 points and 332 rebounds. Jerami entered the 2014 NBA draft in April 2014. The Philadelphia 76ers selected him as a second-round pick on June 26, 2014. His NBA career began at this point. Jerami is now playing for the Portland Trail Blazers. Moreover, Jerami has also played for Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Detroit Pistons.
