Jerami Grant is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Portland Trail Blazers. Grant attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland where he played high school basketball. At DeMatha, Grant was a highly regarded prospect and played alongside future NBA players Victor Oladipo and Quinn Cook.
In his senior high school season, Grant averaged 12.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. He led his school to a 32-4 record and helped the team win the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference and City Championships. Grant was named to the All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference First Team.
After high school, Grant committed to play college basketball at Syracuse University. In his junior season, Grant had a breakout year, averaging 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Following the season, Grant declared for the NBA draft.

Grant was selected with the 39th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He played two seasons in Philly (2014-2016). As a rookie, Grant averaged 6.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 65 games played.
After two seasons with the 76ers, Grant was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in November 2016. He spent three and a half seasons with the Thunder, where he helped the team advance to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
