Jermaine Samuels Jr. is a power forward for the Houston Rockets' NBA G League, Rio Grande Valley Vipers as of November 2024. He went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft and joined the Indiana Pacers' NBA G Affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, in October. He originally joined the Houston Rockets in a two-way contract in August 2023, but through the waive-and-affiliate process, he joined the Vipers in October. He was named for the 2024 NBA G League Next Up Game.

Samuels went to Rivers School and upon graduation, he was ranked 52nd in his class by ESPN. In 2017, he joined Villanova University and became the 2018 NCAA Champion with the Wildcats. He was also an honorable mention All-Big East in 2021. In his five seasons of college, he played in 153 games, starting 113, averaging 8.5 points, 1.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game.
