Jonathan Clay "JJ" Redick (born June 24, 1984) is a professional basketball coach and former athlete. He serves as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. Renowned for his shooting ability, Redick had a playing career across several teams, including the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks.

During his time as a player, JJ Redick received numerous accolades including the Naismith College Player of the Year award in 2006 and two Rupp Trophies awarded to him in both 2005 and 2006. Additionally, he won the James E. Sullivan Award in 2005 and was named ACC Athlete of the Year in 2006; he also earned recognition as a two-time ACC Player of the Year during that same period. On June 24, 2024, he was officially appointed as head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers marking his first role as a head coach for an NBA team. In his coaching debut on October 22, 2024, the Lakers secured victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 110-103 during their season opener.
