Jock Landale is an Australian basketball player who has been successful in venturing outside of Australia and creating a decent career from scratch. He is also among the small group of Australians to play College basketball at Saint Mary’s. Coming off playing youth basketball in Australia, Jock committed to playing college ball at Saint Mary’s and steadily built a noteworthy basketball career.

Jock plays for Team Australia on the International stage. Jock first represented Australia in 2013 as part of the Australian U19 National team that competed at the four-nation tournament in China. Jock would not make another appearance for his country till 2019 due to his College basketball obligations. Jock was named in the 2019 team Australia squad ahead of the 2019 FIBA world cup. Representing the senior team at the World Cup, Jock averaged 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Team Australia finished its campaign with six wins and two losses, securing 4th position.
Jock Landale earned his spot on the roster for the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics and surprised many with his performance. Jock averaged 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, two assists, and 0.7 blocks in three games. He scored 60% from the field and the three-point line.
