Joe Ingles was born on October 2, 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia. The 36-year-old veteran plays for the Orlando Magic and has the versatility to play in the guard-forward role.

Joe Ingles went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft and was signed by the Utah Jazz in 2014 as a free agent. Joe made his NBA debut at 27 years old and went onto play for eight seasons for the Jazz, ranking him at 12th in Jazz's history for most games played (590). He was then traded to Portland Trail Blazers in February 2022, but wasn't able to play a single game due to injury and then later signed for Milwaukee Bucks for one season in July 2022.

Joe Ingles' professional basketball journey began in Australia, playing for the South Dragons where he scored the most points on debut by an Australian. His first season in the Australian league earned him the NBL Rookie of the year. In his 3rd season he took the South Dragons to their maiden NBL championship and was named in the All-NBL third team and the best Australian International player of the year winning the Gaze medal.

He was a two-time NBL All-Star in his three seasons there. He then signed for the Spanish club CB Granada of Liga ACB. He played there for one season and then got transferred to FC Barcelona and played there for two seasons winning the Spanish league and the Spanish super cup twice (2011,2012). He then chose not to resign with Barcelona and signed for the Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Joe Ingles went on to win major titles at Maccabi Tel Aviv, winning the treble in 2013-14 -- Israeli League, Israeli super cup and the Euro League. He played a valuable role coming off the bench and scoring efficiently. Joe Ingles also won the Bronze medal with Australia in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
