Josh Giddey is a 6-foot-8-inch Australian small forward in the NBA. He was picked sixth overall by the OKC Thunder in the 2021 NBA Draft. At just 17 years old, Giddey started playing in the NBL in Australia and signed a contract with the Adelaide 36ers. In his lone season, he averaged 10.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game and was acknowledged as the NBL Rookie of the Year.

In his first season with the Thunder, Giddey averaged 12.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 6.4 apg in 52 games. He was named on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Giddey upped his numbers to 16.6 points per game in the 2022/23 season and will be an important part of Thunder’s playoff hopes in 2024.
