
Jrue Randall Holiday is an American professional basketball guard for the Boston Celtics in the 2025 NBA season. Born on June 12, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, Holiday first played basketball at Campbell Hall School in Studio City, where he was a five-star basketball prospect. Later, he played at UCLA, where he played alongside Darren Collison. The Philadelphia 76ers selected Holiday as the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2009 NBA Draft.
In 2021, Jrue Holiday was integral to the Milwaukee Bucks' championship-winning roster. Before joining the Bucks, Holiday played for New Orleans for seven seasons and averaged 17.6 points, 6.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game, as per Basketball Reference.
