Kai Martinez Jones is a basketball player who began playing professionally in the NBA in 2021. After being selected by the New York Knicks as the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA draft; he was immediately traded to the Charlotte Hornets. As of November 2024, Jones plays as a center/power forward for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA and the San Diego Clippers in the NBA G League.

Jones played for the Texas Longhorns men's basketball team at the University of Texas at Austin during his collegiate basketball career from 2019 to 2021. As a freshman, he appeared in 27 games, averaging 3.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game, according to his college profile. He was honored with the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team selection and earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. He was named the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year in 2021.
