Karl-Anthony Towns, also known as ‘KAT,’ is the New York Knicks' starting center. The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted the Kentucky alumnus with the first overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. The five-time All-Star averaged 21.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in the 2023/24 NBA season. Towns was a key part of the Timberwolves rotation as he alongside Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves to the number 3 seed during the 2023/24 NBA season. In the 2024 playoffs, Towns' contributions were crucial for the Timberwolves as they went all the way to the Western Conference finals. In the 2023/24 NBA season, Towns averaged 5.3 3-point attempts per game.
