New York Knicks legend says he was 'flabbergasted' by Karl-Anthony Towns trade
The New York Knicks surprised the NBA world with their ambitious moves in the offseason. First, they traded for Mikal Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets. They also landed Karl-Anthony Towns in a blockbuster trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Team legend Walt Frazier shared his thoughts on this move on Friday, saying:
“I like Randle. I thought he would come back with a vengeance, he had a lot to prove. Like KAT said, I was flabbergasted by the trade. But since he's there, I mean, we improved a guy that can open up the court. That should help Brunson.”
The Knicks are considered championship contenders after their busy offseason. With KAT on the floor, Jalen Brunson has more chances to shine. This team can be a real challenge for the Boston Celtics if things fall into place.
