Born on August 19, 2000, Keegan Mitchell Murray began his NBA journey with Prairie High School in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he averaged 20.3 points and 7.2 rebounds, and was named Metro Player of the Year. He graduated from high school as a three-star prospect.
For college, Murray played for two seasons for the Iowa Hawkeyes. In his sophomore season, he led Iowa to become the Big Ten Conference Champions and emerged as the top scorer and points getter in the Big Ten Conference. Murray went on to be picked fourth overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Sacramento kings and has proven to be an excellent young talent for them as a two-way forward.
