
The 7-foot center, Kel’el Ware played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks and the Indiana Hoosiers. He grew up in Arkansas and attended North Little Rock High School where he made a name for himself and played in McDonald's All-American, Jordan Brand Classic and Nike Hoop Summit in 2022.
Ware was termed as a five-star recruit and one of the top prospects of the 2022 class and committed to playing college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. After his freshman year, Ware transferred to the Indiana Hoosiers who were looking for a big man after losing Trayce Jackson-Davis in the 2023 NBA Draft. He was close to averaging a double-double for the entire college season and fell short by four rebounds, averaging 9.9 rebounds per game and 296 total in 30 games.
