Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, also known as ‘KCP’ is a 3-and-D role player who plays for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. Coming out of high Greenville in Greenville, Georgia and at the University of Georgia, KCP was a highly touted prospect, as he was selected with the eighth overall pick by the Detroit Pistons in 2013. In the 2024 offseason, KCP signed a three-year deal worth $66 million with the Nuggets. The contract involves a player option in the third year (2026-27). KCP can become an unrestricted free agent in 2026 or 2027 offseason. In the 2023-24 season, KCP was with the Denver Nuggets where he averaged 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
