He was born on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to his parents, American expatriates, Drederick Irving and Elizabeth (née Larson) Irving. Irving has two sisters, Londen and Asia. Initially, he attended the Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA) in Montclair, New Jersey, and later graduated from the Patrick School in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
