Kyrie Irving’s Siblings

Kyrie Irving, a shooting guard for the Dallas Mavericks, was born on March 23, 1992. He was originally drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the overall first pick in 2011. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest ball handlers of all time. Irving won an NBA title with the Cavaliers in 2016 and was named to the All-NBA Team three times and an All-Star eight times. Before joining the Cavaliers in 2011, Irving played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils for one season. He was named the 2014 All-Star Game's Most Valuable Player (MVP). In the 2016 NBA Finals, Irving completed the Cavaliers' epic comeback victory over the Golden State Warriors with a game-winning three-pointer.

In 2017, Irving asked for a trade and was moved to the Boston Celtics following another Finals appearance. After spending two seasons with the Celtics, Irving signed a free-agent contract with the Brooklyn Nets in 2019. The Dallas Mavericks acquired Irving in 2023 when he asked for a trade after four seasons with the Nets. In 2024, Irving made it to his fourth NBA Finals with the Mavericks. Irving has also represented the United States and won gold medals in the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Who are Kyrie Irving’s siblings?

Kyrie Irving has two sisters: an older sister, Asia, and a younger half-sister, London. He was born to Drederick and Elizabeth Irving. After living in the Melbourne district of Kew with his family until he was two years old, Irving moved to the United States.

Following the unfortunate death of his mother when he was four years old, Drederick raised Irving with the assistance of Irving's aunts. Drederick remarried in 2004, this time to Shetellia Riley, Kyrie Irving's agent as of October 2024.

Asia Irving

Asia Irving, Kyrie Irving's older sister, earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Temple University. After completing her undergraduate studies in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she followed her interests and entered the fashion industry. Having earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she had a solid background in both fashion and the arts. In the fashion industry, Asia has branched out into other fields, including creative direction and modeling. In collaboration with Nike, she designed the Asia Kyrie 6, which was made available globally in July 2020. She has also served as the creative director and model for a number of Nike campaigns and projects.

To further establish her brand, Asia started Aseye Studio, a knitwear and outerwear business. Aseye Studio was founded with the goal of establishing a world and community where fashion and sports are viewed from a feminine perspective.
