The LA Clippers will host the Houston Rockets on Sunday, with both teams coming off losses and looking for a bounce-back win. The Clippers, however, could be without two of their best players in Kawhi Leonard and James Harden.
LA is coming off a disappointing 108-80 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Almost all of its starters struggled in the game, as Nah’Shon Hyland led the team in scoring with 18 points off the bench.
LA Clippers injury report: Latest update on James Harden and Kawhi Leonard
As per the Clippers’ injury report, James Harden is questionable for the game with right groin soreness. This is a concerning update, as Harden has been shouldering a large responsibility and has been key to LA’s 14-10 start to the season.

Harden struggled against the T-Wolves and scored just five points in 24 minutes. He also had three assists and three rebounds. Fans concerned with James Harden’s fitness from a fantasy standpoint should check for further updates after the morning shootaround or just before tipoff. If Harden is forced to sit out, it will be his first absence of the season.
Kawhi Leonard is a name that has featured regularly on the Clippers’ injury report. In complete contrast to Harden, Leonard hasn’t played a single game this season because of a knee injury. He is listed as out for Sunday’s game as well.
However, per his teammates, Leonard is trending in the right direction and is getting in several on-court workouts. Guard Amir Coffey said on Saturday:
"I know everybody is excited for him to be back. We see him getting on the court, going through drills, it's a good sign."
The LA Clippers will also be without Terance Mann (fractured left middle finger), Kobe Brown (back) and P.J. Tucker (away from team). Kris Dunn (illness) and Mo Bamba (knee) are questionable.
Editor’s note: The injury report will be updated once the Clippers provide more updates.
