Montrezl Harrell has made a huge impact from the LA bench

Montrezl Harrell enjoyed a breakout 2018-19 season, and the 25-year-old has been among LA's most consistent performers during the first half of this season. However, Harrell's defense has been questioned by some experts, and the big man has less than six months remaining on his existing deal.

Due to this, Harrell's long-term future in Los Angeles is in doubt, and Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report believes that the Clippers could lose him to the Atlanta Hawks:

If the Clippers don't believe they can win with a 6'7" center, especially one hoping for what is believed to be a $20 million-per-season payday, then they risk losing Harrell as a free agent. (Multiple executives believe the Atlanta Hawks could be a summer destination.)

The Hawks are known to be in search of a new center, and it is possible that the team could pursue a deal ahead of the deadline if the Clippers show any intent to move Harrell. The North Carolina native has played 42 times (2 starts) this season, averaging 19.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest.
