The LA Lakers will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday at Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers are coming off a heartbreaking 134-132 OT loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. They are also on a three-game losing streak.
While LA will look to snap its losing streak against the equally struggling Trail Blazers, it could be without two starters in Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves.
LA Lakers injury report: Injury update on Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves
Anthony Davis was listed on the Lakers’ injury report on Saturday with left plantar fasciitis. However, fans need not be too concerned with the injury status, as the Los Angeles Times’ Dan Woike reported that Davis is probable and should play Sunday.

Davis has consistently featured on LA’s injury report this season but has missed just one game. He is coming off a near triple-double of 38 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists against the Hawks. Until and unless any unforeseen incident occurs in the buildup to Sunday’s game, Anthony Davis should play.
However, things don’t look that bright for Austin Reaves. As per Woike, Reaves is doubtful with a pelvis injury he suffered after taking a hard fall against the OKC Thunder on Nov. 29. The LA Lakers have gone 1-3 in his absence and have sorely missed one of their primary playmakers.
Reaves has played in 19 games this season. In those matchups, he averaged a career-high 16.7 points per contest, along with 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals.
Other names on LA’s injury report include LeBron James (foot, questionable), Jarred Vanderbilt (left knee rehab, out), Jaxson Hayes (ankle, out), Christian Wood (knee, out) and Jalen Hood-Schifino (left hamstring strain, out).
Editor’s note: The injury report will be updated once the Lakers provide more updates.
