The LA Lakers visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday amid their five-game road trip. The Lakers have begun the season 3-1. They are coming off a 109-105 loss against the Phoenix Suns. It was a close game that could have gone either way. The Lakers even had an 18-point lead in the first quarter, but they couldn't capitalize on it the rest of the way.
Anthony Davis continued to deliver with another MVP-caliber outing, producing 29 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks. However, an odd LeBron James off-night took the game away from LA. In one of his worst outings ever, LeBron had 11 points on 3 of 14 shots.
On the other hand, the Cavaliers are off to a 4-0 start. After three easy games against the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards, the Cavaliers beat the New York Knicks on the road in their last game. Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley put up handy contributions to get the win.
Garland had 34 points, Mitchell added 25 with five assists, Allen had 15 with 15 rebounds, and Mobley finished with 17 points and eight rebounds.
