The Lakers held a 76-43 advantage at the half, but nearly gave up that lead with some sluggish play in the second half. They will hope to put away the Pistons if they create that kind of separation again.
On the other hand, Detroit is coming off an impressive 106-92 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Their top six players ended the night with double-digit scores. Cade Cunningham led the way with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Jalen Duren had 13 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks.

The Pistons had a subpar first half, but they turned it around in the second, creating a 54-35 advantage in the final 24 minutes. They might need that again against this Lakers team that has been getting impressive starts for majority of their games.
