Lamar Odom recently revealed on a TMZ Special that he was nearly killed by a pimp based in Nevada. Odom claimed that Dennis Hof, a brothel owner who died in 2018, attempted to end his life by feeding him pills. The former NBA star is still clueless to this day on why Hof attempted to murder him with drugs.
Dennis Hof's attempt to kill Lamar Odom was a traumatizing experience. According to the New York Post, the spiked drink that he took resulted in his being in a coma. While in this helpless state, he suffered six heart attacks and 12 strokes. Lamar mentioned that everything happened so fast. He simply took a sip and the next thing he knew, he was already in the hospital.
According to Marca, Lamar was in a coma for three days. Upon his awakening, the former LA Lakers star didn't have the ability to walk or speak. Dennis Hof's "Love Ranch Cathouse" is surely a place that the former forward loathes now. Odom also claimed that he didn't use drugs prior to the incident. All of the traumatic sequences of events were caused by Hof's drugged drink.
“I would remember if I did cocaine that night. He tried to kill me,” he said, referring to Hof. “I don’t know. This is only what I could tell you. I went there, I didn’t do drugs that night. I wound up with drugs in my system.”
