The New York Knicks have enough cap space to make a daring signing. They could sign Lance Stephenson on a multi-year deal, and have him play off the bench on the wing. Given how he has worked on his game and is displaying a new and improved version of himself, he would love the prospect of real and significant minutes.

The Knicks virtually have nobody as a backup to RJ Barrett other than Alec Burks. That makes Stephenson a great fit with the New York Knicks. He would provide them with shooting and fill any role the team would want him to.

#4 Denver Nuggets

Denver Nuggets

Another team that attended Lance Stephenson's private workout in Las Vegas, Denver Nuggets, are exploring the possibility of signing him.

They are also heavily in need of shooting guards. Their best shooting guard right now is Will Barton, with PJ Dozier and Austin Rivers coming off the bench. Lance Stephenson could be their missing backup piece in the backcourt and give them shooting and an added veteran presence in the locker room.

The Denver Nuggets are also missing Jamal Murray for most of the next season, so having a backup guard who can create his own shot should be beneficial.

Milwaukee Bucks could sign Lance Stephenson.

Although Lance Stephenson doesn't exactly fit the Milwaukee Bucks' play-style, he could be an interesting fit for the team. They just lost PJ Tucker to the Miami Heat in free agency, and although Stephenson is nowhere near the defender Tucker is, he could certainly contribute more offensively.

The Bucks' second unit were often sluggish and struggled to score and maintain leads when Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton were off the floor. Lance Stephenson could provide some scoring punch off the bench.
