LeBron James returned to Cleveland for another game after leaving the team in 2018 to join the LA Lakers. The four-time NBA champion often has big games against his former squad and was looking to bounce back on Wednesday after the Lakers' unbeaten run came to an end against the Phoenix Suns.
James had a solid start to the game, scoring five points and dishing one assist. However, the Lakers were run over by the Cavaliers' offense. The Cavs won the first period 42-23 to make a statement at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
LeBron James tried to lead the Lakers' comeback in the second quarter, but the Cavs kept pace. The forward added seven points to his account, entering halftime with 12 on 4-for-7 shooting from the field, 1-for-3 from deep and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

James added nine more points in the third quarter to enter the final period with 24 units. He only scored two points in the fourth quarter, as the Cavaliers secured a 24-point win with a 134-110 final result.

Cavaliers give warm welcome to LeBron James, Bronny James at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
Before another return to the city where he became one of the best players in the NBA during the 2000s and won the title in 2016, LeBron James and his son Bronny were honored by the Cavaliers.
