LeBron James' wife Savannah James expressed love for her son Bronny James after he scored his first NBA points. Bronny got the opportunity to showcase his skills during the Lakers' 134-110 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. It was a meaningful moment for the James family, as Bronny’s first NBA basket came in the same arena where LeBron played for 11 years and led the city to its first championship.

After seeing her son score his first points in the NBA, Savannah shared a heartfelt reaction. She posted a video of Bronny’s first basket on her Instagram story, expressing her pride and affection with emojis.

Bronny returned to the court after missing the last three games, with Coach JJ Redick subbing him in as the Lakers trailed by double digits with only a few minutes left, eliminating any chance of a comeback.

Bronny James vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Bronny James checked into the game with 5:16 remaining in the fourth quarter and the arena erupted. Fans greeted LeBron James’ son with raucous applause and cheers, with thousands pulling out their phones to capture the moment.

Bronny’s first NBA basket came at 2:06 on the clock, as the Lakers trailed 125-103. The former USC guard made a smooth step-back jumper from the baseline, hitting nothing but net. The crowd went wild once again, responding to Bronny’s first points with the loudest cheer of the night.

The young guard finished with two points, two assists and one steal, shooting 1 of 2 from the field, including 0 of 1 from beyond the arc, in 5:16 minutes.

Savannah James was not in the arena to witness her son’s first points. However, she and the entire James family were present at the Crypto.com Arena for the Lakers' season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where LeBron and Bronny made history as the first father-son duo to play in an NBA game.
