#2 Orlando Magic

After years of misery, things are starting to look up for the Orlando Magic. The team is set to feature in the playoffs for the first time since Dwight Howard exited the team, and the Magic have also added the 2017 No.1 pick in Markelle Fultz.

The Magic's summer plans will depend on whether they manage to re-sign Nikola Vucevic to a new deal, although regardless of Vucevic's future, the Magic need to prioritize adding a point guard. The team has started D.J. Augustin for much of the season, although the veteran is more suited to a bench role.

With a mid-first-round pick, the Magic are unlikely to have any success in the draft, and Orlando has never been a tempting destination to free-agents. This leaves a trade as the teams only option, and at 21, Ball could potentially strike up a long-term partnership with the 20-year-old Fultz.
