#2 Pau Gasol
There is no doubting that a Lakers-Pau Gasol reunion is something that most NBA fans would leave to see. Gasol turned out in the purple and gold between 2008 and 2014, during which time he won two NBA titles while establishing himself as an All-Star.
Gasol is remembered fondly in Los Angeles, and as an unrestricted free agent, some have suggested that he would be a perfect signing.

However, Gasol's body has deteriorated over the past 24 months, and the 38-year-old missed much of last season after undergoing foot surgery.
Admittedly, Gasol would bring plenty of knowledge and experience to the locker room, but the Lakers no longer have their much-touted young core after sending them to New Orleans.
This makes Gasol an awkward fit in Los Angeles, and the Lakers should instead pursue a younger and more athletic big.
