#2 Lonzo Ball prefers the Suns over Pelicans, Lakers not interested

Lonzo Ball's future with the Lakers continues to be in doubt due to the Lakers pursuit of Anthony Davis.

If a trade is finally agreed upon, Ball and the entire Lakers young core will be dealt to New Orleans and both Lonzo and his father LaVar have expressed their desire to avoid playing for the Pelicans.

Nevertheless, The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor is reporting that the Lakers won't be swayed by the Ball's personal interests:
There are also rumblings that the Suns could emerge as a third team for Ball, possibly with T.J. Warren and a young player going to the Pelicans. However, a source with knowledge of the trade discussions said the Ball family’s desires have no bearing on how the Lakers or Pelicans will approach negotiations.
Despite the addition of the experienced Rajon Rondo, Ball has remained the Lakers starting point guard for much of the season, and the 21-year-old is currently averaging 9.9 points, 5.4 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.
