LA Lakers star Luka Doncic led his team at Fiserv Forum, trying to beat the Milwaukee Bucks in a game between two teams in the middle of losing streaks. Doncic was coming off a 22-point, 12-rebound and 12-assist performance against the Brooklyn Nets in a game the Lakers lost 111-108 at Barclays Center.

He was keen to bounce back and the Bucks presented a good opportunity to do so. Doncic was off to a great start, dropping 11 points eight minutes into the first quarter.

Doncic finished the first quarter with 16 points (4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from deep) while grabbing four rebounds for the Lakers.

Luka Doncic added 13 more points to his account in the second quarter, entering halftime with 29 points. He also finished with seven points, two assists, two steals and one block as the Lakers trailed the Bucks 71-63.

Luka Doncic added nine points in the third quarter, but his impact wasn't enough to keep the LA Lakers close to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Western Conference team succumbed to the Bucks 31-19 in the third quarter, marking the end of the game for JJ Redick's squad.

Doncic scored seven more points in the final quarter, finishing the game with 45 and 11 rebounds. He added three rebounds, two steals and one block. The Lakers couldn't do much against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co., losing this game 126-106.

"I think, can they win the championship this year? Gotta be hot," Shaq said. "Like if he is playing great, Luka is playing great, Reaves is playing great and the others are stepping in, they have a chance."
