Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers arrived at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to face the Indiana Pacers, end their five-game winning streak and snap his team's three-game skid. The Slovenian guard returned to action against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, but his presence didn't prevent the Lakers from losing two consecutive games.
Doncic started the first quarter on a high, making three of his first six field goal attempts (all from long distance) to score nine points in the first nine of the game.
Luka Doncic added 10 points to his account, finishing the first half with 19 points, leading the Lakers' 40-point second quarter alongside Austin Reaves. The purple and gold entered halftime with a 68-55 lead, looking strong on both ends of the ball.

Doncic went scoreless in the third quarter. At the same time, the Pacers cut the lead with a 37-27 win. The fourth quarter was a battle between the two teams that went down to the line. Doncic added five points to his account (34 in total), being the leader of six Lakers players on double digits.

Danny Green explained what Luka Doncic, LeBron James needed to improve Lakers' level
After losing a third consecutive game on Monday, former Lakers champion Danny Green explained what the Lakers need to help Luka Doncic and LeBron James win more games.
“LeBron [James] is 40 years old now, so he can’t do it anymore. He needs help. When you have Bron and Luka [Doncic] and those guys and Austin Reaves, you need a guy to protect the rim. And right now, they don’t have that. To win games, those Big 3, they really have to perform well on the offensive end and hit on all cylinders.”
The win against one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference puts the Lakers back on track, but they need to build on this team to gain momentum.
