In August 2024, he signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League. He initially attended Port Kennedy Primary School and later graduated from Willetton Senior High School in Perth, Western Australia.
Travers started his professional career with the Perth Wildcats during the 2019–20 NBL season as a development player. He also played as a development player for the Cockburn Cougars in 2020. In the 2021-22 NBL season, he became a fully contracted player. He declared for the 2022 NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 56th overall pick in the second round. In the 2022-2023 season, he re-joined the Wildcats, and he also played for Melbourne United in 2023. In July 2024, he rejoined the Cavaliers.
