The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Malcolm Moses Brogdon with the 36th overall pick in the NBA draft of 2016. He has had NBA careers with the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and is presently playing for the Portland Trail Blazers. The veteran point guard had won a gold medal for Team Usa at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. He also led the league in free throw percentage (92.8%) in the 2018/19 season and in assists (10.0) in the playoffs in 2020.

In the 2022/23 season, Brogdon played 67 games with the Boston Celtics and averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, shooting 48.4% from the field, including 44.4% from the deep end. His performance earned him the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2023. This preseason(2023-24), the team traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers in return for Jrue Holiday.

Malcolm Brogdon Trade

Malcolm Brogdon was traded by the Indiana Pacers on July 9, 2022 to the Boston Celtics. In exchange the Celtics traded Juwan Morgan, Nik Stauskas, Aaron Nesmith, Daniel Theis, Malik Fitts and a first round pick from 2023. Borgdon debuted for the Celtics in the 2022/23 season. Malcolm Brogdon debuted for the Pacers in the 2019/20 season. During the playoffs in 2020, he led in assists (10.0). In three seasons and 146 games, he averaged 18.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. He shot 44.7% from the field, including 35.2% from deep. This preseason, he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Jrue Holiday.
