The madness of the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament is over, and only the 16 best teams in college basketball remain. There are only two No. 1 seeds, two No. 2 seeds and three No. 3 seeds remaining. Princeton (15) is the lowest-seed remaining, but there are three other teams still standing that are the No. 7 seed or below.

The tournament will now shift to four locations around the country to play out the remaining games.

The two games for the East region will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York. KFC YUM! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, will host the two South region matchups. T-Mobile Arena in Nevada will host two games in the West region. And the T-Mobile Center in Missouri will host the Midwest region matchups.

Matchups for each team

In the South region, top-seed Alabama (31-5) will face off against No. 5 seed San Diego State (29-6). The matchup will take place at 6:30 p.m. EST on Friday on TBS. No. 6 Creighton (23-12) and No. 15 Princeton (23-8) will play at 9 p.m. EST on Friday on TBS.

No. 4 seed Tennessee (25-10) will play No. 9 seed Flordia Atlantic (33-3) on at 9 p.m. EST on Thursday. Both games can be seen on TBS.

The Midwest region has the most complete remaining group of seeds left. No. 1 seed Houston (33-3) will play No. 5 seed Miami (27-7) at 7:15 p.m. EST on Friday on CBS. No. 2 seed Texas (28-8) will match up with No. 3 seed Xavier (27-9) later in the night at 9:45 EST, also on CBS.

Finally, the West region is headlined by a massive matchup between No. 2 seed UCLA (31-5) and No. 3 seed Gonzaga (30-5). This will be the late matchup, tipping off at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday on CBS. Earlier that night, No. 8 seed Arkansas (22-13) will face against No. 4 seed UConn (27-8) at 7:15 p.m.

There will be a rapid turnaround after these Sweet 16 matchups as the Elite 8 will begin on Saturday. The times have yet to be announced and will be dependent on matchups, but each of these teams will be locked in keeping their tournament dreams alive as Sweet 16 play inches closer.
