Marcus Osmond Smart is an American professional basketball player, born on March 6, 1994, in Flower Mound, Texas, United States. He attended Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, where he averaged 15.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists during his senior season. He was named to a McDonald's All-American. He participated in the 2013 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in the Czech Republic and the 2012 FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup in Brazil, winning two gold medals. Later he joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team that represents Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States in an NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. He played two seasons with the Cowboys, and declared for the 2014 NBA Draft, foregoing his remaining college eligibility.

Smart was selected by the Boston Celtics as the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft and has been with the Celtics from 2014 to 2023. He also played for the Maine Red Claws in the NBA G League in 2014. He signed with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2023 and as of October 2024, he plays for the Grizzlies as their point guard/shooting guard.
