Marcus Smart is a 6-foot-3-inch point guard who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. He was a first-round pick out of Oklahoma State in the 2014 NBA Draft. Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Smart won the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year with the Boston Celtics, and helped the team reach the NBA Finals in 2022.

Smart has now teamed up with a young and talented Grizzlies squad that includes last year’s DPOY Jaren Jackson Jr. and Team's MVP Ja Morant. He will be looking for a deep postseason run with the team.

Marcus Smart Salary

The 29-year-old Grizzlies guard is set to earn a salary of $18.5 million for the ongoing 2023/24 NBA season. However, certain incentives are also present in the contract that will raise the salary each coming season, finally making $21.3 million in the last year of his contract.

Smart’s current contract runs through the 2025/26 season, and he will become an unrestricted free agent in the 2026 off-season.
