Kerr is presently practicing in the role of an assistant coach in the University of Oklahoma since 2020. She is a women's gymnastic coach and has assisted the Varsity team to finish at the top in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, She has also worked as a coach and manager for several teams including the OU Sooners Women’s Gymnastics team.

Kerr is a university of florida graduate who did her bachelors in business administration. Additionally, she later completed her masters in sports management and also received a master’s degree in Arts in Telecommunication and during this period she played the university team, Florida Gators (2007-2010) and won certain accolades including induction into the NCAA Scholastic All-American Team and SEC Academic honor roll. These awards are accustomed to the athletes who have excelled in both academics while maintaining their sports. She has also done multiple summer camps along with three national championship teams during her time at Gators.

Furthermore, Kerr took on the role of leading the UF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and received the UF Alumni Association's Exceptional Leadership Award in 2010.
