Lithuanian-American professional basketball player, Matas Arvidas Buzelis, last played for the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League. Both of his parents played basketball professionally in Lithuania before immigrating to the United States and settling in the Chicago area, where Buzelis grew up.
Buzelis initially attended Hinsdale Central High School, then Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and lastly he went to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas.
