
Cormac Karl "Max" Christie Jr. is an American professional basketball player. He is a shooting guard for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA as of April 2025. The Illinois native played one year of college basketball with Michigan State before getting drafted in the second round as the 35th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2022 NBA Draft. After playing two seasons with the Lakers, he joined the Mavericks midseason on February 2, 2025, and as of April 12, 2025, he has appeared in 31 games for them, scoring 345 points, grabbing 130 rebounds and dishing out 78 assists.
