Maximilian Kleber, known as Maxi Kleber, plays basketball professionally in the NBA. He is part of the Dallas Mavericks and is a forward that has remained constant with the team ever since draft night. Kleber is a key rotation player for the Mavs and helps the team in both offence and defence.

Basketball Bundesliga is Germany's top league and Kleber joined his hometown team, Oliver Baskets, which is in Wurzburg. Kleber has also played in the Spanish league for Obradoiro CAB for 2-years before returning to Germany and joining Bayern Munich. Kleber's career in the Bundesliga earned him many accolades and recognition globally.

Maxi Kleber has also represented Germany since 2014. He has played internationally in the qualification rounds but could not play in the Olympics due to injuries.

In 2012, He declared for the NBA, Kleber later denied his availability and became eligible for the draft in 2014 automatically. He was not picked this year and instead signed with Obradoiro CAB, which is a Spanish team.

He is a forward that can be effective from outside the arc and can run plays with the guard. The Dallas Mavericks have acquired Luka Doncic, who is a star player that the team is looking to rebuild around. Maxi Kleber has become a permanent part of this rebuild.

Kleber is great when it comes to defence, he is one of the best blockers in the Mavs line-up. There have been reports of fans mistaking Maxi Kleber for Luka Doncic and Dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki and Kleber happen to be from the same town back in Germany.
