#2 A Mario Chalmers reunion is unlikely

Mario Chalmers has been linked with a return to the Miami Heat

Mario Chalmers didn't play in the NBA last season, although the veteran recently revealed his desire to return to the league. Chalmers is currently starring in the Big 3 league following a short spell with Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, and at 33, a return to the NBA seems realistic.

A reunion with the Heat has been suggested, although The Sun Sentinel is reporting Chalmers is unlikely to return to Miami because the team would first need to release Kendrick Nunn.

Chalmers previously played for the Heat between 2008-2015 and was a starter as the team won back to back titles in 2012 and 2013. He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in November of 2015 and the point guard went on to spend two seasons with the franchise.
