#2 Kristaps Porzingis was interested in a Heat move, prior to the Mavs

Once the Porzingis brothers found out that the Knicks were discussing a trade with the Dallas Mavericks, sources said, they hurried a meeting the next morning and asked to be moved to one of four destinations: the Nets, Clippers, Raptors or Heat.
Even if Porzingis had joined the Heat, he wouldn't have featured during the 2018-19 season due to a torn ACL. The 24-year-old has returned to action this season, and he seems set for a long-term stay in Dallas after recently signing a five-year maximum contract worth $158m.
