The Miami Heat are in fire-ravaged Los Angeles on Monday for a matchup against the LA Clippers. Miami, on a three-game winning run, hopes to add James Harden and Co. to its list of victims. The Heat look to get another win even without suspended star Jimmy Butler.
The reeling Clippers got an extended break due to the postponement of their game against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. Ty Lue said they spent the added time working out the kinks in their stuttering offense, the main reason for their slump. The Clippers are healthy, but it remains to be seen if they have solved their offensive struggles.

Miami Heat vs LA Clippers: Key matchups
Tyler Herro vs. Kris Dunn and Terance Mann
Kris Dunn gets the first crack at guarding Tyler Herro as he is a starter. When he sits down, Terance Mann gets the job of shadowing Miami’s deadliest scorer. Without Jimmy Butler, Herro has carried a heavy load on offense. If Dunn and Mann can prevent him from having a good shooting night, LA could snap out of their slump.
James Harden vs. Terry Rozier or Jaime Jaquez Jr.
James Harden is the engine that runs the Clippers offense, which has been struggling over the past five games. Terry Rozier and Jaime Jaquez Jr. will try to keep the former MVP from getting any rhythm and bust out of his funk.
On the other end, Rozier and Jaquez could try to test Harden’s motivation to play defense. Either Heat guard could hurt the Clippers if "The Beard" refuses to cooperate on defense.
Kawhi Leonard vs. Haywood Highsmith
The Clippers are unsurprisingly limiting Kawhi Leonard’s load and minutes after recently returning from a long injury layoff. Against the Heat, "The Claw" will likely be under minutes restriction. Still, Miami can’t afford him having a good game.
Haywood Highsmith, who had a career-high five steals on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers, gets the first task of shadowing Leonard. If Highsmith can keep the lid on Leonard, the Heat will be in a good spot to extend their winning streak.
