Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings Preview

The Sacramento Kings will enter Monday's matchup with a 17-19 record as they continue their ascent up the Western Conference standings. Currently a place off the play-in spots in eleventh, the Kings are on a four-game winning streak and are yet to register a defeat in 2025. Their last game was a win against the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center. Malik Monk was the star of the night, registering 26 points and 12 assists.

On the other hand, the Miami Heat have a slightly better 17-16 record and are currently in sixth position in the Eastern Conference. The Florida team, unlike the Kings are on a 2-game losing run and have only won their match against the low-lying Pelicans in 2025 so far. In their last game, they faced the Utah Jazz at the Kaseya Center in a blowout 136-100 loss. Nikola Jovic was the best performer for the Heat during the loss, with the youngster averaging 17 points.

In terms of injuries, both teams have a short list of affected players as of now. For the Kings, DeAaron Fox is the only player who may miss this game. However, his hip injury is not serious, and he is currently being observed on a day-to-day basis. The Miami Heat, on the other hand, have three players on their injury list, with Josh Richardson and Dru Smith both ruled out for an extended period.

Haywood Highsmith is another possible absentee for the Heat but could return for the fixture against the Kings as he is under observation as well.

Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings Betting Tips

De'Aaron Fox would be the top pick for the Kings for any bets but due to his absence, Malik Monk will be the leading man in offense. The guard had 26 points and 12 assists in the Kings' first game without Fox and should be a favorite to register 20+ points.

The Miami Heat, on the other hand, should see Tyler Herro record over 21.5 points in this game. Despite his flat performances in his team's last two fixtures, the former Sixth Man of the Year has been great away from home and should achieve the 21-point mark with ease.

Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction

Despite their multiple losses in their last few fixtures, the Miami Heat should get the win against the Kings. The side has been great away from home in recent weeks and has a respectable 7-9 away record this season.
