Micah Potter is a professional American basketball player, who plays at the Power Forward/ Center position for the Utah Jazz. He attended Mentor High School in Ohio and started off the bench till his junior season. He then earned a place at First Team All-State honors and averaged 20.2 points and 9.1 rebounds. He later transferred to Montverde Academy in Florida. After high school, he finally committed to Ohio State University for his collegiate career, where he averaged 7.6 points, 0.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game in his senior. He later transferred to the University of Wisconsin in 2019 and finished his collegiate career there.
He declared for the 2021 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not picked in the draft. He later signed a contract with the Miami Heat on September 10. He made it to the final cuts in training camp and joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce as an affiliate player. As of December 2024, He is a member of the Utah Jazz and is on a two-way contract.
