Known for his sportsmanship and teamwork, Mike Conley was born on October 11, 1987. A four-time NBA sportsmanship award winner in 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2023 and an NBA Teammate of the Year in 2019, Conley is a professional basketball player for the United States.

Playing college basketball for Ohio State, he scored the highest assists in the Big Ten Conference as a freshman. He took his college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, to the Big Ten Conference Championship and an NCAA final where they lost to Florida. He scored a total of 441 points and 238 assists during the season and was named to the All-Big Ten First Team.

During his college career, an outstanding performance in 39 games, scoring 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists and an impressive game time of 31.6 minutes per game earned him First-Team All-Big Ten honor. He also received McDonald’s All-American and Third-team Parade All-American honor in 2006. He announced himself for the 2007 NBA Draft after finishing his freshman year.

Mike Conley Trade

Conley has been part of two trades, the first on July 6, 2019, where he was traded to the Utah Jazz by the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, a protected first-round pick, and draft rights to Darius Bazley.

His second trade involved three teams and happened on February 9, 2023, when he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves by the Utah Jazz along with Alexander-Walker and two second-round picks. Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt were moved to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz received Russell Westbrook along with the 2027 first pick in the NBA Draft.

Drafted as the fourth overall pick in the first round by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2007 NBA Draft, Conley has been active in the NBA for 16 years now. He played for the Memphis Grizzlies from 2007 to 2019 and for the Utah Jazz from 2019 to 2023. He is currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
