On June 30, 1966, Mike Tyson was born in New York City, United States, to Lorna Smith Tyson and Purcell Tyson, who is identified as his biological father. However, Tyson did not have a normal and easy life growing up. His family lived in Bed-Stuy until they could afford to move to Brownsville when Tyson was around 10 years old.
